Metro Report 2nd quarter 2024
James and I have recently had a trip to the USA to meet with staff at Metro World Child (MWC) in New York and connect with people who support Metro Kids Africa (MKA) in Georgia. This was our first trip to the USA in several years and it was a time of real encouragement for us.
Metro Sponsor News – First Quarter 2024
Welcome to the first Sponsor News of the Year.
Thank you to many of you who recently blessed your child with Christmas and school gifts. One of the best parts of working at Metro Kids Africa is seeing the children’s faces when a gift is delivered from a sponsor. Receiving new clothing when you don’t have many clothes is special and always brings a smile to a child’s face.
2024 – A brand new year at Metro!
We wish you all a blessed year. Metro Kids Africa (MKA) has started the year well with James and Janet joining the South African team in January and part of February. It is encouraging for all of us to be together as we prepare for the year ahead.
Individuals
We welcome volunteer work in South Africa. Volunteers can join us for a week or a few months! You will join our team in helping carry out the weekly programmes, assist with home visits in the children’s communities and impact the lives of vulnerable children.
